HISTORY OF THE UNIQUE PUBLIC LIBRARY




 A Brief History about Unique Public Library



The Unique Public Library was founded in 2000 by Gerard Frankestein and Phillip Smith who was a educator at one university in California. They were a bestfriend since in school. Frankestein and Smith financed a beautiful new building to house the Unique Public Library. The city and library flourished and in 2000, and the Unique Public Library became the first in California to provide service to an entire county. And now the library still in used until today by the citizens.

The Unique Public Library enhances the quality of life in our diverse community by providing opportunities for lifelong learning, by creating spaces and opportunities to connect and engage, and by fostering a love of reading and commitment to literacy.
